Beth Franzese was certified as a Rolfer by the Rolf Institute in 1985; as an Advanced Rolfer in 1991. In addition to continuing education with the Institute, she has studied cranio-sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, gyrotonics, Chinese medicine and qi gong. Beth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Movement Science, and is certified in Active Isolated Stretching. She studied martial arts intensively for over fifteen years.
Beth danced as a child, and began teaching in her teens, quickly discovering that she was more interested in human movement and posture than dance technique. After studying a variety of movement therapies, as well as traditional athletic training, she found that Rolfing effected lasting improvements in structure, posture, movement and emotional growth that had been previously unachievable.
